Two different springs...
Left: M/T / Right: A/T

TAAE-9737-A .. Retracting Spring-Use with M/T / 4.05" long - 34 coils - .88" diameter / Obsolete
1954/55 F100/600 239 / 1956/59 F100/700 272 / 1957/64 F100/700 292.
Not all that long ago, I listed this part number for a member of the 1948/56 forum. Two were available at two sources, both have now been sold.
In 1967, TAAE-9737-A was replaced by a "universal fitz-all" kit ~ C7AZ-9737-C. Kit has a spring and two long rods with a loop at one end.
The spring had the correct tension, but the rods were "cut to fit." While obsolete, there are quite a few of these "fitz-alls" available.
