Damn, I switched back to Ford to get away from the gold Chevy emblems that get water inside them and fail. How are Dodge emblems?

Dealer is replacing both the rear emblem and the front emblem (front is starting to delaminate) under warranty. Service girl thought it was pretty sad how Ford is putting these cheap emblems on expensive trucks too.

Ram emblems may hold up but the rest of the truck doesn't fare to well.

Came outside yesterday morning and see a blue thing lying on the ground. Pick it up and it is actually the overlay of the Ford emblem from my tailgate. I had no idea it was even an overlay (old ones were all 1 piece deals) and it just plain fell off in one piece. NEVER have seen such a thing on any car brand I have owned in the 100 or so vehicles I have owned.

Looked at the front emblem and it too is a POS overlay. Underneath is a cheap fake chrome looking piece. Looks kind of cool without the Blue oval, but this should not happen on a VERY well cared for truck with only 16K miles on it.

We'll see what my local Ford dealer has to say about it in the morning. I have bumper to bumper for 100K and can't wait hear how the emblem is not covered in that. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.

I haven't seen anybody put a bulldog on the hood in years. My dad had a 76 GMC pickup that was smurf blue and being a trucker at the time, he just had to have a bulldog on the hood. I think it was like a security blanket from all the miles he had followed that dog down the road. When I got my license, I started out in that truck and answered a lot of questions about the bulldog. Too bad the ridge on the hood is inverted on the Superduty. On the old GMC there was a wide raised ridge that made the dog stand proud! Now that I look closer, yours even has the lighted eyes!
