V10 with 35" tires

Anyone running 35" on the stock 3.73 gears. ? I was considering a small lift, and bigger tires on my 02 f-250 SD, but i don't want to end up with a dog.

Was curious how the V10 handles 34" or 35" tires? I own a 99 f-250 SD with a 5.4 been a good truck, but its really tired compared to my 02. I live in the appalachian mts, so you don't drive far before your either going up or down.

I know a re-gear is an option, But is it necessary with 34" or 35"

Also it's a single cab. so maybe a 2.5" lift and 33"'s would give me the stance i'm after. I've been trying to find pics of a single cab with 2.5" and 33" but it seems like most pics are 35". Personally i don't care for the stuffed look. I currently have about 10" from tire to fenderwell. I'd prefer to keep it the same not less.

You could probably dig around in the search bar and find a few really good threads on Gear vs Tire sizing for the V10.

In a nut shell, a tiny lift like that with 35s is no problem for the V10 and the 3.73's.

I have a massive 8" on 37s with the baby 3.73 and she only struggles slightly on big inclines. You will have no problem.

Also it's a single cab.
Just saw this.

You have noooothing to worry about for sure with a single cab.

hey thanks i appreciate the reply...as it is now with the stock 265's i can climb a decent grade and it don't even downshift out of OD..kinda spoiled. i'd hate to sacrifice too much power.

Yeah I wouldn't even think twice about gearing. Good luck!

It may be fine but don't plan to hook much up behind it and be happy.

You shouldn't have an issue. Theres tons of guys out there with 35s on stock everything. I plan on joining that crowd someday Although a gear swap will be in order since I actually use my truck

Like others have said, no issues, but if you pull a trailer, youll feel it. My truck is totally stock, and with my 5th wheel attached, itll lose speed when it hits OD. Click er off and itll jerk it up a hill no problem
