Front Axle Shaft

Hey guys. So over the weekend I ended up breaking a u joint then the axle shaft where it connects to the u joint in my 72 F-100. I have had a hell of a time trying to find axle shafts for it, they all seem to be for later models.

Hope your not in a big hurry as it may take a while to locate it if you don't want to pay top dollar.. You must of had a bad axle u-joint for this to happen.

I've been searching around. Its inner and outer. I was more wondering about the compatibility with other Dana 44s or the era.

Thanks for the bronco graveyard tip. I must have missed it in my search. These have F100 listed so I'm hoping they are correct.

Probably available from autoparts stores .. give 'em the Spicer/Dana p/n.

Just remembered!
Pirate 4x4 has many vendors that give like a 10% discounts.

I got the best deal from Rock Auto for a complete harden axles u-joints. After being jacked around by another company for a month. Rockauto shipped in 3 days.
