F-350 vs F-450

The 450 will have different axles, brakes suspension etc... I believe that the frame of the factory 450 with truck bed (not cab chassis) is actually from a 350. The cabs will be the same. In general the engine and tranny are the same, but different programming. 450/550 engines are often derated versions of the ones used in the 250/350. Due to the gearing and weight, the 450/550 are significantly slower, both in acceleration and top speed.

2008-2010 F-450 pickups had the 19.5 rims, with the larger brake rotors that fit inside of them.
2011-2014 F-450 pickups have the 17" rims, like the F-350 duallys.
2015 F-450 pickups will return to the 19.5 rims, with the larger brake rotors that fit inside of them.
F-450 pickups produced by Ford, of any year, do not share the same frame as the F-450 chassis cabs.

The '08-'10 F450 will have the wide track front end, I believe it's called a Dana Super 60 axle. The F350's also have the Super 60 but 450 has beefier parts inside the axle. Also I have seen some F450 pickups that were optioned with the 7000lb rated front axle thus the reason the the upgraded inner parts. All frames are the same for the 250, 350 and 450. The frames are different when you get to the cab and chassis. The rear axle will have 10 lugs and the '08 will have 19.5 wheels and tires, at some point during '09 Ford discontinued the 19.5 and went with 17" wheels and tires. Rear axle brakes are much larger and I think the rear axle is the same Dana 80 that's in the F350 duallies with a few upgrades. A F450 will have either 4:30 or 4:88 gears.
The F450 with 4:30 gears will have a GCWR of 29,000lbs
The F450 with 4:88 gears will have a GCWR of 33,000lbs.
The F350 duallie will have a GVWR of 13,000lbs
The F450 will have a GVWR of 14,500lbs.
The F250-450 have the same horsepower ratings and torque ratings, it only changes in the cab and chassis models.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.

Rear axle in '08-'10 F450 pickup is a Dana 110.
Super 60 (widetrack) front axle for the F350 was an option as I recall and not factory standard. I've yet to see one on the road. My 450 will turn circles around most pickups. It out turned my Excursion no problem.
I "think" they did away with the 29/33k gear ratio dependent rating in '09(?) and just made it a flat 33K. No idea why since nothing changed in the truck.
