billet grill

I've been looking at getting the billet grill for my 76 but don't know to either do the 8mm or 4mm bars. Could you guys post some pictures of yours or give a Lil input? Thanks

Most guys here would respectfully hate you for putting a billet grille on your dentside, me included, but...

Yes I looked at Google but I really couldn't find anything good. The 4mm looks way better then the 8mm

I wouldn't hate you, course I remember back in the 80's all of those tube grills, both square and round, that would rust in a couple of years. Those were nasty

I got one of those new in the LMC box for a 79 (one piece insert) in a parts trade deal and its still in the box. I think its the 8MM, I sat it in there to see how it looked and promptly removed it.

I masked off the front chrome edge and painted that grey back part black and like it alot better.

Before you spend all that $, cruise around here at search for "grill paint tricks". There is a member with a camo truck that did his 2 piece inserts all black with silver just on the front edge, and it looks sharp.
