Beautiful Bronco Chris!! I have to say that the 78-79s are my favourite years for the Bronco.

They are the rarest as well. I like the 66-77 as well. The 78/79 was actually supposed to come out in 74, but due to fuel costs/shortage they were delayed and they were ready to go with the 80's body style by that time.

Found that out while I was looking something up. Also learned the M in 351 M does not mean modified as it is refered to. The letter is just to identify it from the other 351's. The 400 I don't think carries the M designation.

Really? That's pretty neat to know. I looked it up and the 400 doesn't carry the M designation, just the 351. Heres a little write up on the engines:

I think I may have read that one before. I had the blurb that had a bunch of info on the 351/400 printed out.

I have a 400 in my bronco. I took it out of my other one. The one I am driving came with a 429. Only problem is it was in a few pieces and not in the bronco. The 400 is a pretty snappy engine.
