It was fun...not at all what I expected (shoulda understood how scoring was done before 4 weeks had passed, LOL), but will also be a bit sad for me when I remember my first year of trying this game because we lost Steve.
Joking around with him on how badly my team was doing helped me understand how the scoring was done, and showed me how I drafted very, very wrong.

I still can't believe he's gone.

I couldn't agree with you more, Stu.
I played FTE fantasy baseball because Steve played. Any time there was a Giants/Dodgers series, we would make our predictions. When he left us my first inclination was not to play anymore. But then I thought what Steve would say to me for giving up. Needless to say, I continued. Finished 4th actually.
Part of me is even rooting for the Dodgers this year. Kershaw was his 'boy'. And I have to admit, he's a damn good hurler, even in Dodger Blue.
Steve and I would have some fun ribbing each other over the Giants-Dodger rivalry too. I'll miss that.
Kershaw is a friggen stud. Period. It's not exactly easy to appreciate a player wearing the blue, even Juan Uribe, who was humble, gracious, and forever grateful to the Giants and Giants fans when he received his World Series ring on the field in 2011, but Kershaw and one other Dodger I have a lot of respect for.
The other is Matt Kemp because of the respect and what he said about Giants players at the 2012 All Star game when he was mike'd up, and also because of this:
