Hello
I have just started messing with this old ford p/u that used to belong to my wifes departed father. When he passed, it sat in a field for over 10years. It was never hardly spoke of till word got out that it was sold by the land owner for $200.00.
At the time, "The Truck In The Field" was only a myth that I was sure didn't really exist... However, within a few days my wife tracked it down and I bought the rust bucket (oops, I mean priceless memories) back for her at almost 10 times the price. LOL
Anyway, the guy had got the thing to run and actually put new brakes on... It of course will not idle or stay running unless you pump the gas pedal and abuse the poor thing. Anyway, with help from this sight, hopefully I can get it to a condition that my wife can drive around the nighborhood a little.

Did I really have a chance?
Well it's my own fault. Over the last few years I should have paid moreattention to my wife (Ouch that hurt to say!!) andher family when they occasionally talked about the thing on "Fun DaySunday's". Instead I was distracted by drinking beer and watching thegame.
