My ears must have deceived me the day I bought it because I just spoke with the guy that I bought it from yesterday and he said that only the bed was a different age. Sorry for the confusion. Although that explains a lot of things. As you were saying though, it does have a step in the cab and there also is a solid axle with leaf springs. In that case I do believe that the cab, motor and frame are all original and by comparing my bed to other pictures I have seen online I think that it is a 1960. It has the curve around the wheel well but it stops and doenst go to the end of the bed, and in the back where the tailights are is flat and there is no bumper. I just put an ebrake cable on today and tuned up the brakes over the weekend, hopefully it will be insured, registered and inspected before the end of next week. Thanks to all for the help.
