I have been scouring the threads for leveling advice, and have come up with a mixed bag of how it should be done.
I was figuring on doing the HBS 2" spacer and thought I would be good with that...BUT...then I was reading up on the Bilstein 5100's and now I'm not so sure!!!
The price on a pair of shocks is another $110 over the spacers, but if it is worth it in the long run I am all for doing it right the first time. BTW...it's a 2013 SCREW with the 5.0 that won't be seeing much BAJA time but may get off the pavement on occasion.
One of my friends has the HBS 2" level on his 09 f150 and he hasn't complained about the ride but I'm also not sure how much off road time he's had with it either.
I also have the 2013 Screw and plan on getting the HBS 2" in a few weeks. I don't think the new shocks are necessary for my off road use.
That's kinda what I figured...mine is not gonna be an off road king either, but I was reading about how they put more pressure on suspension parts and limit travel. I know I am over thinking this, but I like to do things right the first time.
