when someone gets a chance/bumper question

If someone gets a chance to take some measurements and maybe a picture I would really appreciate it. I have a 60 f100 frame with a 56 f100 body. I need a 56 front bumper but don't know if it will fit without modification. If it will fit without modification I will go chrome otherwise go with metal and modify it. As near as I can tell the bumper bolts onto the end of the frame rails. Shipping is steep, can't afford to make a mistake. Thanks, Matt

If you want the chrome bumper, get the chrome bumper. The frame horns, where the bumper will attach on either truck, are going to be similar widths, but likely a different shape. There's a strong possibility no matter which style bumper you get, chrome or plain steel, you'll need to make your own custom brackets for it to fit the 60 frame. It's not a big deal. If the body fits, the bumper will fit.

I'm on the road but this is how a 56 front bumper bolts to the frame, less the bend in the bumper and frame.
Contact the Bumper vendor and see if they are hoping to attend an event in your area. They will bring the stuff to the event saving you shipping. This really saves bucks for fenders, hoods, running boards and bumpers.
