C6 capacity?

Took my c6 apart enough to replace seals on the pump. Also drained the converted. It's been sitting on its tailshaft for about a week, so I'm sure it's good and empty, lol. How much fluid and what technique should I use.

I put 12.5 quarts of type f in mine last week. I think the original fluid was in it but the new type f is working just fine. I read up on this in other posts which was a lot of help. I ended up adding 6-7 quarts through the dipstick tube and then started it up and put it in D for 10-15 seconds, then in R. Did that a few times and then it finally started to want to go. Turned it off and added all but the last quart and a half. Took it for a short drive and added the rest. I hope that helps.
