changing shocks question?

Well, too bad cuz I'm 19 haha. The shocks don't hold any weight up, but you can't drive without shocks. If you took the shocks off, and you jumped on the bumper, it would bounce up and down repeatedly. It will be safe to remove them, you can just unbolt them and take them out but you must replace them, can't drive without them.

changing shocks question?

Oh come on, it's fun to drive without front shocks. Had a friend in high school with a '70 Mustang with a straight axle and leaf springs under the front with no shocks. If he gassed it and let off repeatedly at the right time he could get the front end to bounce off the ground.

But yes, safe to take them off to replace, but not to drive that way.
