All joking aside - while cosmetically you don't see much, an impact at that speed is going to come with a high risk of damage to your truck. I'd have your trucked checked out from top to bottom to make sure there isn't anything that will come back to bite you.
I planned to do this. I could see some movement where the hitch bolts moved very slightly, so that force had to go into and down the frame. He went under me for the most part. It did not even knock my drink out of the crappy shallow drink holder
I'd get the truck looked at from a good body shop. My F350 got rear ended six years ago, I was sitting at a red light and POW a young kid talking on his cell phone not paying attention ran right up under the truck. My hitch stopped most of the impact and everything looked fine but when I stopped at the body shop they lowered the spare tire and looked around and they found the 1/4" plate that holds the square hitch tube to the receiver hitch had a small 1/2" crack I assume happened when the car hit my three inch drop hitch and put all that force sideways on the hitch. The kids insurance payed for a new OEM receiver and I was good to go. If I didn't have it checked who knows I could have been pulling my 20ft boat with my kids and dog with me in the truck and the crack could have grown and SNAP there goes my boat and possibly a fellow car on the road and I would think What the heck happened? when it was a unseen problem from an accident six years ago.... +1. Take your truck to the most reputable body shop in town and have them put it back to perfect condition -like the accident never happened - with that being said, it's nice to know our trucks can take a punch
My old man got rear ended many moons ago, and the impact chipped a tooth in the rear diff. And didn't realize it until it was too late to claim it on the insurance.

No, that was probably you drop shifting and beating on your old mans car
same happened to me in my truck one morning. little car rear ended me and crunched the front of his on my drop hitch. with no damage to me I said well, good luck with that and took off. when I took off it seemed a little sluggish to me for some reason. I looked in my mirror and saw the guy running after me waving his arms. his radiator bracket was stuck under my hitch and I was pulling the car. Funny as hell.

Yeah, that's a really bad idea. Leaving Leaving the scene of an accident means jail time in some states.
Just another chime in for GET YOUR TRUCK LOOKED AT! It was the other guys fault, he screwed up, you shouldn't have to so much as turn a wrench to fix his mistake. If nothing else, at least you have a paper trail. You never know if or how the other guy might try to come back after you.
