lift questions

92 f150 4 wheel drive. My truck has a 3 inch body lift (original owner installed) I know some people hate them because of the safety factor, but I've never had problems. I don't really like the look of it though. Also with the truck being a secondary vehicle now, I want it to be done right and have fun with it. Question 1: what size tires could I clear right now with the 3 inch lift? (302/3.55) I have 32s right now. Question 2: what can I do as far as a suspension lift? If you guys want to just give me a link for a good thread that's fine. Also if you guys have links for kits or parts I would appreciate it. I don't need huge lift, I don't want to have to extend brake lines and stuff like that. Any help is appreciated

With your current engine and gear set up, anything larger than 33's is going to make it into a gutless slug IMO. Skyjacker and Rough Country are two companies that I can think of off the top of my head, there are many more. I'd eliminate the body lift before going installing the suspension lift. Typically combining the two is a no-no. Depending on how high you go, longer shocks and extended brake hoses may be needed. It would ruin your day to break a hose when the suspension goes to full droop in a hole or something.

Yea that's what I figured on tire size because of gear ratio. Thanks for the reply
