2005 F250 185K only 13K. Haven't test drove it yet--asking a few questions first--but the engine bay is awfully clean in the pic. It is a reputable used car dealer. I'm not holding my breath--it's just too clean looking
It just got pressure washed who knows where all the water went
I know all plugs are Weather Pack Plugs But that's NOTHING for a 3000 PSI Pressure washer Weather Pack Plugs are NOT Made for that, A Little road Splash No Problem for that type plug. BUT NOT 3000 PSI LOL!!!!
I won't wash an engine too much electronics anymore PLUS I've learned the Hard way before washing them
Hell Looks like they Armour All it Too LMAO
It Might be OK just Beware and kinda sounds like you are
Yea, I'd prefer to see some "dirt" vs. clean like that....
Not always, but a lot of times that's a method to give a potential buyer the "warm and fuzzy feeling" of how well it was taken care of. (cough BS cough) Not to mention....how was it cleaned??
Just check it out REAL good and have a scantool with ya if you look at it.
A good detailer can do that in a 1/2 hour and not use a pressure washer. Just looks like good sales prep to me . Although au naturel is better for the buyer so you can inspect the degas bottle for white residue. That just means you'll have to get it up temp and mash the skinny pedal on a hill to see if it pukes .
A little Advise, be the first one to start that truck, cold starts are Injects or glo plugs and hook your Scan Gauge up first thing run a few tests before cranking ,like
1 FICM ( mp,vp,lp ) mp 48 lp 12.0 vp12.0 ( koeo) nothing lower at Idle
2. Batterie ( will drop at crank then build when glo plugs shut off 12.6 (koeo)
3. ICP ( anything above 540 at cranking is good) o at koeo
4. IPR ( 14.84 koeo) (idle 24) (2500rpm 40.60 is Ideal)
5. VLTs (14+ after glo plugs)
6. MAP BARO EBP should be within 5 psi of each other at koeo (cold)
7. EOT and ECT full temp on flat freeway at 65 mph with in 6/7 deg running ( no load)
Sorry My Arther ritiz is feeling good today

Like yall said--it's nice to have it clean--but would like that after it's checked out.
If I get my initial questions answered I'll go take a look and see what we got. I'm not gonna get in a hurry just want to get the best bang for the buck--pun not intended for sure
Couple of things--if it has puked or does puke--is it already toast or could the normal upgrades fix it--ie: coolant filter, egr delete, coolant flush, updated oil cooler? Or if it pukes it's not worth the time?
Ok--heads too tks--I would do all the major stuff then if I do make a deal. Already planning on getting an Eds Ultra FICM as well (will order as a purchase is being made so I can plug it in immediately) and save up for a DC alt if not already on what I get.

EGR cooler alone can cause puke but budget for head gaskets/studs also. Heads may still be usable. May be best to move on to another truck unless it's a great deal or a special model.
