'65/'66 F250 Rangers
Consider this a registry of sorts dedicated to the '65 and '66 F250 Rangers.
Here's the one and only that I have seen so far '65 F250 Ranger warranty plate, interior and a couple of the outside.
And here is my own warranty plate and interior for my '66 F250
I think Boss9F100 said his was an F250, so post a pic of your warranty plate and interior here dude.
Any others out there? Someone in Australia mentioned having one. Pics? I know there are a few more F100 Rangers, just for this thread interested in F250 only. Thanks.

Here's another '66 F250 Ranger with V81 code that I went and looked at in Auburn after Cory pointed me to it. Just a bit rougher than I wanted to take on and no optional center console. Also came from Kansas assembly and all mine are San Jose, but that was a minor nit. It did have a Seatttle DSO 74.
So, that makes 3.
Boss, can you add yours?

I saw, and made an offer, on a '66 F-250 Ranger a couple years ago. It was the first F-250 Ranger I had seen. I didn't have a chance to get any pictures, sorry.
A vendor at a south east Washington swap meet used the truck as his daily driver / work truck. I did get a phone number and name, but the owner was happy with the truck and not interested is selling.
It was a two tone, tan and white and was in typical 45 year old truck condition. Still had the tank cover and most of the carpet. The buckes seats were well used and I don't remember it having the console.
I plan to be back in the area in the next few months. Hopefully I can catch up with the owner and get a few pictures.

a couple F250 "Ranger" pics.
This truck really was in incredible original shape when I bought it.
Interior was really dry but all there. I have saved the original carpet set. As it was SEWN not formed. I did find date code on carpet . .
Special order paint too, My daughter has now put on approx 10k miles in past year. Had her first bigger issue over the weekend. A flat tire . . . So far in 10k miles it has cost well under 100.00 in maintenance to keep it on road. Basic tune up with plugs and points, a vacuum modulator for trans and the plastic fitting in PB Booster. Thats it except for a couple oil changes.
When I bought truck it had a 390 GT engine in it that was "modded" so she could tow her 27' camper up the hills. She parked truck when It started to run rough. Turned out to be a flat lobe on camshaft.

This is a true story for the record books!
In the past week my daughter was at "work" (Mayo Clinic) and this guy pulls up in a brand new Ferrari.
I am not sure if she said Nice Car or what but he said how about I trade you even up for whatever you drive? She firmly said no way no how! LOL
The guy walked off and a bit later returned and said "are you really serious that you would not trade even up?"
She said OF COURSE, no way no how. He said ok, What do YOU drive?
She says a "1966 F250 Ranger" & shows him a pic. He said, and what is so special about that truck, She says it has something the Ferrari never will!
Guy says he had never been turned down before and was flabbergasted a teenage girl would rather have a 1966 Ford Truck. He walked away shaking his head.
My daughter: A true FORD hero!
It is quite funny the reaction people get when they ask if for sale.
Its more like you and ALL your friends do not have enough to buy this truck!
I have to give her major credit it is her only vehicle on the road right now until we get her Bronco going.

Cool story and clean looking truck you've got there. Can you post the warranty plate and a current pic of seats installed? If you want to scrub the VIN some you can open it in Paint and wipe the VIN sequential portion using the eraser and save it then upload to PB. Or just scrub the last 3 digits. That's sort of a neat way to do it.

Daughter bought her first set of new tires today. She kept getting low tire on right front but near impossible to find leak. 1996 date codes. Great thread but not much fun when you need to be somewhere and your tire is low.
She has put 10000 miles on it prob in last 6 months.
We plan on a full restoration some day after she is thru with school and training.

Do you know what color that is on your daughters truck?
I added some pictures of my carpets to my thread.

Parchment interior - so U81. Nice!! I had a hunch from a prior picture of the passengers door handle. Same as my Sauterne Gold and White truck. The gold is not a normal truck color, either. I need to get a pint of that gold and spray a fender or something and see what it is like. I had them look up single stage but need to see if they can cross that to basecoat. There are a few places like under the bed side trim that is probably untouched. Hard to see in the pic but it has some metal flake in it, if that's the correct term.
