I have a 2014 with the complete package on the My Touch. It does some really inconsistent things such as not picking back up the music (not AM or FM) if I stop to answer a call. In other words, if I have bluetooth playing Pandora and answer a phone call, it will not always start playing again when I hang up. Somethimes it will and sometimes it wont. That may be a Iphone thing?
I have noticed that if Sirius radio is playing and I get a phone call, it never seems to start playing again after I hang up. I have to turn My Touch off and back on to get it playing again.
Wish I had never gotten it...
Might try registering at Personalized Vehicle Owner Information
set up your account with vin,
then go to your truck and run a 'vehicle health report' ...
Then seeing if there are updates for your system, but doubt there are....
as far as Bluetooth and phone, its suppose to music on when you hang up, mine does. I will say this 14 is better and more reliable than my 13 unit..Maybe there some upgrade, have you tried doing a Master reset on the MFT?
Mine has had the same issues as Senix descrbed. I did the most recent update to it and so far have not had any issues since. Even though yours is a 14 the software could be older. It's worth a check on the syncmyride site.

Hi JimRay,
You might notice some differences in behavior depending on the music app you're using. Sometimes these differences do occur on the device level, but most commonly it has to do with where you're streaming the audio from. On Pandora, try checking under Settings>Advanced>then check the box Bluetooth under the BLUETOOTH FOR AUTOMOTIVE section. This will act much like an auto-play function, but could improve your overall listening experience depending on your preferences.

If I turn the radio and then back on It will play.
Sometimes upon start up it will play as designed. No set pattern to it.
Hello Senix,
Which kind of phone do you have connected? I would first recommend checking to verify your phone is also running the most current firmware available for it, as well as making sure there aren't any updates available for the app you're using. I have my phone set to automatically update my apps, which is battery intensive, but this ensures my software is all up to date without having to manually check.

Running a Andriod Samsung SGH-I847. Mine does not automatically update. Will do that.

Thanks Antonio, is this under settings for the Iphone, Pandora, or My Touch?
Hey Antonio, is there anyway My Touch can greet me in the morning under first start up with a "Good Morning", then the weather for the day, and a cup of coffee?

... this is one of those ideas that start off as a joke, but steadily grow into an incredible thought the more you think about it. Who wouldn't want a Keurig built into the dash?
Hey FOMOCO, dibs on the idea......I have kids to put through college.
Antonio, I do not have the "Bluetooth for automotive" button you speak of.
JimRay,
Check for any updates on your app in case your phone doesn't do so automatically. I'm running Pandora version 5.1.1 on a Galaxy S4. The BLUETOOTH FOR AUTOMOTIVE option should be available under the Advanced menu option under Settings.
