4 speed toploader/429/460
Hello guys. I've been patrolling the classifieds lookin for a old school4 speed toploader. I found one the next town over that's suppose to have a new shifter and linkage. And suppose to have worked great. The guy only wants 500 for it. He said it is from a late 60s fairlane he's pretty sure. Can't remember whether it was a 390, or a 302. What is needed to mount this behind my internally balanced 78' 460. Will a 351m/400m truck bellhousing and clutch fork work? And what about the input shaft? Here's a picture of the trans
