De-emissions?

Ok guys I have a 77 F100 with 351M. My question is what emissions crap can I take off? What can I cap off? Reason is I just don't want it on there. I don't car about fuel economy or stuff like that just want the engine simple as possible. I have chased vacuum leaks for days and I don't want to do that anymore

The easiest way is to pull it all off and install an aftermarket intake and carb. Neither of my '78s have emissions "crap" and they run great. The only thing about doing it while the motor is in the truck is the cross over tube that runs between the heads at the rear of the engine. If the engine is out then you can plug the holes with freeze plugs like what are in the front of the engine, hard to do for the lack of room. If its still in the truck then you need to get creative. This is what I done to plug mine when it was still in the truck.
I can't speak on the EGR ping that FMC is referring to but I have always replaced my intake and carb for aftermarket.

I should have noted that when I crimped the cut off cross over tube I cleaned it VERY well then brazed it shut. Would have tig welded it but it already had brass on it where it was manufactured.
