Aight guys. I am almost home from deployment this month and wifey was thoughtful to see about getting me a small addition to the truck for returning. She mentioned wanting to get me nice floormats like weathertech but I know I have heard of other ones too like husky so she told me to look into it. What is out there that you guys have experience with? the good, bad and ugly is appreciated along with ballpark prices/purchase locations. I will be googling mats but I prefer hearing from you guys with your personal experience to help with my decision.

I purchased the WeatherTech floor liners, probably the best upgrade I have made to my truck. There isn't very much carpet exposed, they don't slide around, and are a perfect fit. They are a little pricey, but we'll worth the investment. My son has a 2014 RAM and recently purchased the new Husky liners, they're no where near the quality of the WeatherTech. They are alot cheaper though. Last but certainly not least, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! I am an Ex-Marine myself. (Well, once a Marine, always a Marine, SEMPER-FI) As far as the mats, I would go with weathertech, especially if you have kids.

Reason: forgot to add price
Planning on kids as soon as I return so will definately take that into account. Good to hear the comparison with the Husky's. So not many other brands out there to consider alongside WT mats I gather?
11 years and counting USAF here. And yessir, once military always military. Its hard not to be that way especially if you do it most of your life.
I haven't had too much luck with any of the others. I had purchased Ford rubber mats, but they would slide and crap would get under them. I bit the bullet a spent the money on the WT' s, no issues at all. There is virtually no exposed carpet in the second row floor, and if you are clumsy like me, anything you spill up front stays in the liner or will run directly over your door sill. Never touches the carpet. I have had these 3 years now. Carpet still looks brand new.
I have had this truck a year and so far kept the carpet good but its borrowed time I think. I do have some walmart Ford licensed rubber mats but they only cover soo much
You might try Autoanything, I think they carry them. They have a lowest price guarantee on most of their products, and if I'm not mistaken, a military discount.
I just checked autoanything and they don't show the configuration I need for my truck. The WT website shows what I need for $209 but still hunting for a deal.
I don't like rubber matts . Prefer a carpeted look. The Lund (Nifty) catch-all are great. Regular interior look with hose down cleaning. And they actually hold water instead of draining it onto the floor. Many matts just funnel the water to the carpet.
Yep. Rubber backed but with some fuzzy on it that looks like the carpet. I can vacuum it, or hose it, or flat out scrub it. Had the first set for about 8 years in a Jeep and it was fantastic and did not color fade. If a bunch of snow melts I just pick it up and dump the water outside. No spills.
My wife had the heavy rubber matts in her Subaru (OE equipment) and it terribly stained the carpet from the rubber rubbing into the carpet.
does it have as much coverage as the weathertechs? I like that WT goes up the side panels a little so that there is no chance of fluids leaking under the mat and causing mold.
