With the fact that the Super Duties are pretty ancient technology, and electric peripherals consist of a cigarette lighter. Has anybody thought about installing something like this? A dual port would be nice though.
That charging kit you linked to Dan only has a 500mA output...which means it can't charge iPads and some other devices which require 1000mA charge capacity. I have been using a real cheap plug-in one that provides two usb connects and runs 1200 mA charge capacity in each usb port.

It saves the bother of wiring, it's very tidy, and I still have my two plugs available when needed for things like my 50W inverter or the trouble lights I own.

Remember, USB will also be eventually supplanted by some newer technology, leaving your instrument panel with something that's likely (then) more obsolete than the everyday cigar-lighter-style plug.
I use the plug-in adapters. Whatever that newer style charging becomes, the adapters will be made for it, too.
