T18 swap
Ok before I buy this trans I want to kno if my drive shaft will be to long or to short ? I am swapping out my t170 ford 4speed trans for a t18. Plz help also my drive shaft has a slip yoke built in to it

Not the same trans, but I've got a RAT 3.03 3-speed on my '82 and a spare T18 4-speed...and after extensive research the process of swapping trannies and then finding a fixed yoke (2-piece) driveshaft to replace the slip-yoke stock shaft would be too much of a pain in the butt. I'm living with the 3-speed.

Not the same trans, but I've got a RAT 3.03 3-speed on my '82 and a spare T18 4-speed...and after extensive research the process of swapping trannies and then finding a fixed yoke (2-piece) driveshaft to replace the slip-yoke stock shaft would be too much of a pain in the butt. I'm living with the 3-speed.
