Are the marker lights in the front working? If not, check the ground wiring to the sockets. If all of this is OK, check the power coming from the turn signal switch harness below the steering column. The connection could be pulled apart slightly or you could have a bad turn signal switch.
The hazard switch could be in the mix too if none of the above checks out. Observe what color wires are going to your front turnsignals. You should be able to find these color wires in the steering column. You could also take a testlight, and probe these wires with the signal on. The testlight should flash on and off when you probe the wire if the other end of the test light is grounded.
Well the dash indicator light is tapped off the front turn signals...so if it is flashing the turn signal switch is working and power is heading towards the front turn signals.
As stated check the grounds, they should be black wires on the rad support usually.
The front RH light has a white/blue striped power wire and the LH has green/white striped power wire.
