Wow, alot has happened the past few months I havent had time to be on FTE. First off, last winter the wife and me were discussing the possibility of building a new home. We kind of put on the shelf untll my son put his house up for sale. They expressed their wanting to move back out in the country and wanting to buy our house. Not expecting to sell very fast, it sold in a month. Long story short, we had to move to the basement, (it's finished) while we build. I had a setback in early Dec. had what I thought were flu symptoms on Fri., Sat. got worse and vomited blood. Sun. the same but no vomiting, went to work Mon. but came home after 2 hours I could hardly walk 50 feet without having to sit and catch my breath. i got home and vomited again and the wife seen that and off to ER. They did a CT scan to see what was happing, the surgeon seen it and said things didn't look well, he said you have air on your bowles that's not supposed to be there. 95% of the time that means gangarine, I thought Oh Lord what's going on here. So he does the surgery and next thing I know I wake up in recovery and he's standing over me with a smile on his face and says great news, your one of the 5%. I said praise God, what was it. He said I had a hernia caused from adhesions and part of the small intestine protruded thru it and was choked off. Well that set me back a few weeks and now I'm almost 100%. I thank God, it could have been worse , he said I could have died if I didn' get to ER when I did.
The house is almost livable with the plumbing and flooring to complete yet. Hopefully things will go well from here on out.
Bill, glad to hear you're back up and running. get some rest and take things easy! thats a helluva story to share.
i hope the build goes smoothly.
cheers from the bay area.
Welcome back Bill, thank the Lord that you're on the road to recovery.
Take it day by day, and always save time to enjoy the company of the people that love you.
