I have a 66 F-100 with a 351W and I am putting in a C6 auto transmission. The radiator that was in it is shot and it did not have the trans cooler ports built into it.
Is there a radiator that will bolt into the stock location that will have the transmission line ports for an automatic? I just prefer this method over buying another radiator plus an external trans cooler.
I don't work at a parts house, but expect that 95% of all replacements will have the additional tank on the bottom. You need to verify but I would say that a 68-72 302 rad would work, meaning the outlets should align.
ALL 1967/79 F100/350 V8 radiators (except Super Cooling) will bolt to the 1966 F100/250 2WD radiator support.
Standard/Xtra Cooling & A/C radiators are 24 1/4" wide x 19 3/4" high. Super Cooling radiator is 24 1/4" wide x 26 1/8" high, has a HUGE top tank that overlaps the core.
