I'd still take a diesel F150 in a heartbeat.
It's actually more expensive for me to maintain a gas truck, as I have a fleet of diesel work vehicles, therefore everything in my shop is setup to maintain diesels. I've got 55 gallon drums of CJ-4 5w-40 and 10,000 gallons of diesel fuel....it would be nice to be able to use that in my personal F150 too.
As far as the new F150 is concerned, my big wish would be for larger tires. I'd love to see 34" tires as an option on a stock truck. I look at a Raptor and the proportions look just about perfect to me.

I'd rather have to change 6 quarts of oil rather than 10+ quarts. Urea I think at Wally World is around $15.99...which you need to keep up on every now and then otherwise your down to 50mph then after that just idle. At that point you have to go to Ford and have it worked on (not sure what they do). Yeah the cost per mile is roughly the same...but the added upkeep costs...I never did factor that in originally. So those numbers might be slightly off...but also like I said, its up to the person on what they want to do...you can tell them one thing until your blue in the face, but that doesn't mean they'll do it.
Is there any upkeep on the turbos on the EcoBoost?

Here's 2 things I'd like to see on the 15 and up trucks. 1 the max tow option with the 5.0. Even if it would only be good for say 10,500 instead of 11,300 that the ecoboost is go for now. 2 I already know won't happen and is merely cosmetic would be to bring back the rain gutters. Seriously though if anything would cause me to choose the ecoboost 3.5 over the 5.0 it's the max tow option. Now with saying that I have absolutely nothing against the egobooster. I rented a 13 F150 that had one of those engines and I was really quite impressed with it. But I just love the rumble of the 5.0.

did anyone mention longer warranty? I was leaning towards Chevy/GMC for a minute solely because of warranty, but doing the math I don`t figure I`ll run out of warranty for about 5 years anyway for the miles I`ll put on it.....but I think Ford at least matching the others warranty would be a real body blow to the competition
