Besides the pivots, there's a gasket, spacer and a nut per side. 1939 Ford passenger car (except convertible & station wagon) is one year only.
Early Ford Store located in San Dimas CA (earlyfordstore.com ~ 909-305-1955) has TONS of used early V8 parts. Also has NOS & repro parts.

Ford 'nuts' refer to this as the green bible, cuz the original bound paper catalog has a green cover.

Yes sir. That is exactly what I am looking for. The splines on mine are worn and the wipers arms slip. This has been a issue for several years and I had hoped you might, in your parts search, find a dealer someplace with a new set.

Larry, I don't know how yours are constructed, but check out this post I did a while back. If you can remove the old splined hub from the shaft, these ANCO adapters would probably fix them.

These are tapered and have very fine splines. It has been a issue since the car was built in 2004 It was built as a show car and was not too big a deal as long as that was the only driving. Pat and I have decided to stop showing and to drive the wheels off it so now I am going to have to deal with fixing the wipes. I will have to drop the headliner to get to them and will see what i have to do to fix it. I was hoping he might come up with some at a dealership. If I can't get some good ones, I will do as you suggested, and come up with a newer type to retrofit.

Bill, I have been looking all over for the accelerator return spring 7hc-9737 and the safety catch spring 1c-16862-b. These are for my 51 F-1 with the 226. Any up your magical sleeve for those?
