My sister has a 03 E350 shuttle, if the head lights are off the brake lights and blinkers work fine, but if the light switch is on the brake and tail lights are on all the time. I noticed that when the brake is pushed with the lights off, the marker lights at the top front of the bus body come on and the lights on the bus temp controls and the chair lift come on.
I traced the power from the brake light switch to a module in the dash that connects to the bus control wiring and the van. I think the power is crossing between the brake light circuit and the tail light circuit in this box.
My question is. Does anyone know what this box is called? Where I can find one? Even how to trouble shoot it?
There is not a Ford logo on it and it is bolted to the supports for the steering column. So I take that is has to be a part supplied by the bus manufacturer. I will try to get the name of the bus from my sister. They may have a schematic of the parts they added.
