But yeah, I'm here. I own and have owned mostly GM stuff for my whole life, few Pentastars have worked their way in, but never a Ford. I'm an American car guy so nothing against them, just prefer GM stuff. I'm a diehard Pontiac guy, so things just rolled that way.
I have a business fixing up and reselling cars and projects, and selling used parts. Mostly deal in Jeep stuff, but will buy whatever I find cool or is cheap enough.
Sold my Silverado a few weeks back and bought a Tahoe for family hauling along with towing, so was without a shop truck. Went to buy a wrecked Jeep a couple of days ago and the guy had an F150 he wanted to sell me as well. Figured the price was right and I needed a truck, so what the heck.
It is an 89 F150, regular cab shortbed, 2wd. Has an automatic and a 5.0L in it.
Needs some loving, but would be a cool shop truck. Going to put some different wheels on it and maybe lower it a bit. Will be a good hauler for me.
Picking it up on Tuesday, will post pics when I get it.
Welcome to the site .They way I look at it as long as there American. I to liked the Pontiac and Oldsmoble and last Saturn in the GM line up all gone now .

Well, paid for it today, picking it up tomorrow. Plans are initially to get it running and driving, then a cheap paint and some different wheels. Maybe lowering it if I can do it cheap.
