2002 Explorer 5.0
Searched but couldn't get answers--
I've got access to a motor complete w/ tranny (aod) I'm going to swap this into a 97 ranger w/4.0 and 5-speed 2-wheel drive.
Will the oil pan clear the crossmember?(I-beam) I plan on ditching the original harness completely as this is a prerun truck and I 'm fabricating a custom dash also. Does a factory gauge console need to be hooked up to the computer harness?

I'm not up on swaps but there are some people here that have V8s in their trucks and I'm sure the will try to help. The one thing I know is you will need the computer for the 5.0.
