Is there any diffrence between a 65 frame and a 67-72, I have a nice short bed 65 frame and Im thinking about putting a later model cab and bed on it. It looks the same I just want to be sure before it get to far along.

Reason: left out something
65-72 frames are pretty much same, very swappable. 73-79 same as 65 from rear cab mount to front bumper, 4 inches added to rear of mount hole and about 4 in wider in rear.
Rear wheels will sit further back in bed wheel opening if pre 73 body is placed on post 73 chassis.

If you look in my "garage-F250" album there are a few shots of the alteration to the rear of the frame I had to do to put a 65 short bed on a 79 4x4 chassis. very minor, I also had to raise the bed and cab 1" so the bed would clear. that is one hockey puck per body mount other than that it was pretty much a bolt on installation.
