So this of you familiar with my situation know that I had a multitude of electrical problems with my 2013 6.7 and my buy back/replacement.
Here is what I have been offered and am torn
(all issues have been fixed for full disclosure)
-The replacement offer is not worth it. I pay sticker, no negotiation, no incentives and they devalue my truck for mileage driven. Its a bad way to go.
1ST:
I have been offered a 200,000 mile full warranty for free bumper to bumper with a $100.00 deductible. Current mileage 24600. Cost usually near 5000.
I cover all service/maintenance costs after 40,000 (oil changes, rotations etc)
This way I keep the truck I bought and payed on.
OR
2ND:
I can put in for a refund. Sounds like I have a good chance at getting that, and can start fresh with a 2014 0 miles and negotiate any and all incentives etc. I would move from a 250 King Ranch to a 350 Lariat 8ft box and the larger tank which I do like.
So there is my dilemma. I appreciate all the information from everyone who has chimed in on my previous threads and I hope to have this resolved soon.
As long as they will give you the correct blue book for your current ride.
Once a lemon always a lemon imho.
I think I agree. If anything I can negotiate a similar warranty and service package on a new 350. We will see. I have another week before I can deny the replacement then another couple months for a refund. Long wait!
I was leaning toward the King Ranch yes, however I think a lariat loaded up will do me all the same. Sticker on my 250 KR was 66 (I didn't pay that of course) but for a 350 lariat with all the same bells and whistles its sticker is 64. Needless to say I can get the 8ft bed and 37 gal fuel tank and the stiffer rear end which I have been wanting for the sag when I tow for 2k less off the batt. Just looking at needs I guess. Also I was thinking about going with the Cabela's camo seat covers anyways so I would cover up most of the KR leather. BTW did you randomly start getting the King Ranch magazines by chance? I don't think there is even a shirt in there for under $100.00 sheesh hahaha
I had a similar issue with a 2007 focus I bought. Ford bought is back for sticker and I had to buy a new car for sticker. It was a good deal at the time but the only down side is I didn't get the tax credit for the trade in value. It was a very simple process once we got to that point. Glad I did it.

I really appreciate your input. I would be fine doing that however they have devalued my vehicle for all the miles i have logged on her. They charge $0.59 a mile and I have 24500 miles so that breaks down to just over $12,000. So that puts a $64000.00 truck at $76000.00 because devalue. Again no rebates, no negotiation nada. Sucks on that end. If I can do the full refund and get approved for it, I can start at $64000.00 and work back from there with negotiation, rebates etc. However on a positive note my service package and extended warranty I purchased transfers right over so that would be good.
Id go option #2. Id not be able to trust that truck anymore. Im not familiar with high vehicle repair costs at the shop or being without my truck for periods of time. Simply not even an option for me. That's what keeps me from diesels all together.
