I love the steering wheel cover on that! Good looking original truck, no engine pics though...I bet it is beautiful too.

Stunning. I sometimes wonder why we restore them when you can buy them in that condition for that price.

Pretty nice truck.
The wood in the bed looks kinda cheap to me, like maybe they used tongue & groove lumber or such.

Some of the detail just isn't there. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful truck, it just needs a few things to make it as nice as it looks.

My guess is the engine or chassis isn't shown because it hasn't been detailed. Just a guess.

Pictures

One of my biggest forum (any forum) pet peeves is dead links. I'm uploading pictures of the truck so people can see what we're talking about once the CL ad is gone. It's a good looking truck.

What are those ?lights mounted up high on the rear sides of the bed. I see the period-correct tail lights down low in the correct location, but what are those other things? Older lights?

Edit: BTW, it has the "correct" rear bumper for the 1950 trucks........because it didn't exist at the time.

Beautiful truck. I'm 95% positive on it. My only negatives are that there is no rear bumper and why cheese out on the bedwood after putting that kind of effort on the rest of it. Looks like a fair price to me though.

The extra lights are probably for turn signals. Other than the bed wood, I wouldn't feel compelled to change a thing. Aussie's right, you can't build one like that for the price. Unless it's just a bondo queen, and it doesn't appear to be. Nicely done!

BTW, why would you use the CL feature to show exactly where the merchandise is located?! Why not just post your address and leave the keys in the garage door, so thieves save time??
