Hello All
Good day all.
I'm new to the site but owned several F-250 ,350, 450, and 550's over the years. I currently have a fully loaded 96 F-250 4x4 ext. cab with the injected 460 and 4speed auto. It has 265000 miles on it. I rescue pit bulls, so I am overhauling my old farm truck to make it my new rescue rig. The old land cruiser's getting a bit wore out. I am putting a lift and 35/12.5s on it. I am getting ready to pull the engine and give it a rebuild and step it up a bit. I already had the tranny gone thru and a shift kit installed and true duel exhaust fitted.
I did a 88 F-250 about 5 years ago, it had the injected 460 also but the C-6 tranny. it had 358hp and 407ftlb of torque at the tires and got about 15mpg on the highway. I sold it and am still kicking myself for it.
I want to go a bit further with this one. So advice on cams, intake, lift, comp controls ect. would welcomed.
