SoCal "newbie"
Not new to fords, but I have a 'new to me' '93 F250 XLT 4x4 with the 460. I took it in on a trade for a 2wd Toyota 4runner. Go figure. Anyway, it has a 3" body lift to clear the 35" tires right now. I figure I'll do a suspension lift on it so it's just a bit more obnoxious. Guessing about 4" or so.
Now then.. off to post a question about auto locking hubs...
ok, fine, i'll put it in here too. I notice that the front hubs click like they're trying to engage while the shifter is in 2wd. Is there a rebuild kit for these things? Should I swap out to manual hubs?

You will want to post your question in the tech forums since this one is used for introductions. That way you will reach the people who can answer it. That's a lot of truck you got in the trade.
Ended up selling the 93 F250 to settle some debt. Have been driving the 03 Explorer limited 4x4 in the meantime. Things have turned around a bit so I went looking for another truck. SoCal craigslist offered a 2003 F250 SD, 4door, V10, 4x4, lifted 6", rear air bags, 37" tires and only 48k miles.
I'm currently over playing in the "sand" so I had my brother in law check it out. Seemed good so I transferred money and had them go back in buy it. So.. it's MINE.. but I won't get to play with it for another 7.5 months..

My brother in law has the same truck, just a year older. Hopefully my parts don't wander over to his truck. lol. Anyway, he's going to run it around once in a while to keep the seals lubed, tires moving around, engine running, battery up, etc.
Now even more reason I can't wait to get home!
