351M oil pan help
I am building a 351m for high horsepower. My oil pan is dented and the dipstick tube has rusted almost off. I am having a real hard time finding an oil pan for this motor. The configuration I have is out of a 4X4 truck and has a rear sump. Does anyone have an idea where to get one. I looked at summit racing and the pans they have don't have a dipstick. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is your concern that the pan is dented? Or that you would like more volume? I bought a core 400 not to long ago with an abused oil pan. Within a half hour over my slitting stump with a hammer and dolly had it all smoothed out. Size to the stock pan can be easily corrected if you've got a mig or tig welder. (Or a friend with one) Several friends run dirt track and have added more volume and side sumps with scrap sheet steel.
