Reason I bring it up is I know I need atleast a drivers door, has a warp/dent on the inside on the bottom that leaves about a 1/2" gap where I can see the ground.
My hood has paint peeling off the bondo, that's peeling off the rust. So on, and so on.
While surfing C-list I found a guy that has a "pile" of parts from a few jobs he did and wants to sell it as a lot, not just the one or two pieces I need.
He's asking $400 for a hood, pair of doors, pair of inner and outer fenders, and a box of misc interior and under the hood parts. Wasn't planning on spending that much, but it sounds worth it, I think?
Was hoping for some input on what you would pay for certain parts, ie hood, doors, fenders...... .
Up here in Wisconsin (and any crappy weather state), rust free parts go for a premium. Got any pics? They're worth a thousand words you know. I paid $80 for a crappy rusty door. Down in Chicago though I saw a rust free door for $80 as well. (Yes I'm dumb for paying that much for a rotten one.)
Don't have pics yet, Have a meet setup with the guy for this weekend. He's asking $400 OBO, offered $300 sight unseen and he didn't turn it down but didn't accept it. Said he "used to rebuild old cars", but is getting too old do do so, so only kept "things worth keeping". Has parts I know I don't need like intake and carb for 351m.
