composite rust repair panels
has anyone seen/heard of these, or better yet have any experience with them?

To me looks like more hassle. If you drill out the inner wheel panel you an get to the backside of the bedside and grind/ media blast the foam and rust out. Epoxy coat it and seal it from moisture. Or weld in replacements and clean seal the backside before installing a new inner wheel house. Most panel bond requires bare metal for the best bond. Without removing the inner wheel house how do you know all your bare metal is covered and the seam is sealed??

Spot weld bit and 25 min or so. I have to do mine as well. I will wait il spring/ summer when the shop slows down. Remove and replace the inners and like stated blast and epoxy inside and out. Then fill any pits left and repaint. Mine are just bubbling. I've only owned the truck since Late sept.
