I've heard all about tuners for a while now and was really interested but just about a month ago on a TV auto show the guy said that tuners will void any warranty AND that the dealerships can now see from the computer any history of tuners being used. Seems to me if saving on fuel costs is your goal, you probably should buy less truck. Removing the emissions controls is just plain irresponsible.

Note that most that do this are aware and choose to do so, or are already out of warranty in which case it doesnt matter, they are taking away the "failing" parts of the truck to increase the life of the truck.
Correct me if im wrong, but only the 2013+ trucks will be able to see if a tune was applied?? And not ALL warranty would be void i dont think. It only affects the parts that the tuner would have affected or changed??
