1964 build front suspension
Hey everyone, I just inherited a 1964 ford f100 that my grandpa had, problem is the whole front suspension and fenders and stuff is off the truck, he took it apart 10 years ago to restore it then got in bad shape. He has every last single piece to it in the shop. Its laid out and also has new front end parts to put it back together. Well I wanna take on this project and have my stepsons help me but I dont have a clue as to where to even start putting it together. Can anyone help me with this? Ive searched google but couldn't really find anything on how to put it together. Any info would be a blessing. Im mechanically inclined and can do it I just need alittle help as where to get started. A good place to start would be to pick up a copy of the shop manual. It does seem a little light on the body stuff but has some. I suppose there must be another publication available that has all the diagrams. Probably included on CD as part of some complete set of Ford publication reprints.
With that said I would try to find a hard copy of whatever pub has that info too. They just seem easier to read in actual use somehow.
