Drive shaft length
Hey there all, my first post here, hoping someone can help me with a little problem.
I'm in the process of restoring my 93 F150, including swapping out the old E4OD auto for a S5-42 manual. I'm having a hard time finding a drive shaft to go with it, none of the nearby auto wreckers are sure if what they have is the right size, and I don't have the truck or the transmission available to me at the moment to measure (truck is in the body shop, transmission is being built).
So I come to you, asking if someone with a similar setup can tell me what length fits properly. My truck is a 2 wheel drive extended cab, 8 foot long box, 155" wheel base. I really only need the front section, from the transmission to the steady bearing, but if I have a for sure measurement of the whole thing, I may just go with a custom drive shaft.
