While turning around in the driveway, I heard a crack and saw a nut rolling away from the truck. After jacking it up, i found that the left TTB pivot/support bracket (which pivots the right side TTB) was cracked. Looks like the PO started to do some work but didn't finish it, and didn't snug or torque the bolts back. There are a total of five on this piece and all were loose. I am giving a BIG SHOUT OUT to Jim at Silver States ford for helping me track down the identity of this piece and getting one headed out my way. The original ford Manual numbers are no good and the local Ford dealer said it was obsolete but Jim hath worked his magic and the big green machine will be back hauling firewood in a few days.
