help..not doing bad for a girl 85 f150
So before this truck i knew nothing..but the ither day my truck wouldnt start, poped the hood and my solenoid had fallen off the inside feder well..after rebolting and jumping truck, seemed fine...then had to have a jump the next day, started a ran fine afterwards til evening. Radio stopped working, lights went almost out, replaced battery, has been jumped a lot dovto cold weather, ran like a champ. Next afternoon no turn signals...went to part store to get fuses and have them recheck altenator whilevi was getting fuses and it wouodnt start...his jump pack through sparks and was cranking truck without key...figured selenoud was being bypassed, changed solenoid got her jumped but barely made it home, still not charging....so going to replace voltage regulator in morning. ..hopefully not altenator too...anything else i should know or check...solenoid was first thing i replaced 8months ago then altenator, then voltage regulator,i know its grounded...hoping that the solenoid dislocating is initial cause of all this...have a master cylinder to tend too....been an everyday repair for last two weeks....which i complained about the once a week repair for 8months....haha

Ok. So I'm confused. Are you asking something? A little hard to follow but I'll give it a shot.
The problem is battery not holding a charge? You said you replaced alternator, solenoid and voltage regulator 8 months ago. What about the battery itself?
Maybe I'm missing something, but if the alternator is good, then I'd be looking at the battery..

Ok, so the solenoid has been replaced. And it looks like the voltage regulator is next. While the truck is running, check the volts going to the battery. Needs to be above 12V, preferably 13-14 range. Also, use a multi-meter to check resistance in your charging circuit. Once you find where your charging problem is, you can fix it once and have fewer headaches.

Listen to the man. He's better than I am at this stuff. Voltage requirements vary from car to car. Go with his answer.
