I have a set of indy truck decals in my basement..... 30 years I got hem when i was building my 56 puickup. with intentions of using them. that truck is long gone but I ran across the decals last week , which is what prompted me to come to this site. Is there any interest in them or have they just died over the years? what would be a fair value without gouging anyone? thanks Keith
I had a 79 Indy Pace Car Mustang that I cruised and showed. I looked for some time for a matching Indy truck which I could trailer the Stang with, but no luck. I've sold the Stang but would still like to find a truck.

Did you see that they're making 16 inch replicas of the old metric TRX wheels? I thought that was pretty cool. That's where I either discovered, or possibly rediscovered, the Indy trucks, when I was checking out Pace Cars and other early Four Eye Fox Stangs on the internet.
I guess I probably saw those trucks back in their day, but didn't realize what they were. I also didn't realize that the Pace Cars were Pace Cars until the 1990s, even though I definitely remember seeing them when they were new...

Even though that's not a 100% accurate illustration of what they actually looked like, that might be the best looking front end of any Mustang - or at least in the top 3. Definitely the best of the Fox era.
I almost can't believe how far off that official Ford illustration is.
Pace trucks also had a tailgate applique like the Lariat except the color was orange instead of black. A friend bought one that had been totaled with 3000 miles on it. He used the box, I used the exhaust, 3.25 traction lock, left from axle, and steering column. He sold the 460 and C6.
