Gauge cluster question.

Found this in the boise Idaho Craigs list. $2200.00 , Caldwell Idaho .

Listed as a 78 ,camper special with camper.

Looks like a 73 /75 ? grill and chrome windshield trim.

Those are not the question, the gauge cluster is . I have owned a bunch of dent sides though the years and have never found a gauge cluster with the shift indicator in it. was that a special series for some of the trucks ?

That's a GM dash, like an older model Olds.

He must have got his pictures mixed up with GM pictures . He had the year wrong from the trim he was showing . Never gave any information about the truck that was helpful to anybody that was interested in it and i was not.

Truck does look to be right around a '73, moldings, grill etc look exactly like my (regular cab) Camper Special.

Dash pic has to be from wrong vehicle, instruments are totally different, mine has large center speedo with oil/water/volt/fuel gauges on either side in divided binnacles as with all other F-series I've seen from that period.

Shift lever and whatever switch is hiding behind it are also wrong, ruling out a custom cluster install IMO.

Yes ," ranger429 " pointed that out. I was going to go look at it but i don't need another truck. It's only a 20 minute trip from my house.
