I want to meet your Ex up close. looking at your build thread right now.
How many scratches do you get trailing?
Sent from my Galaxy Note 3 using IB AutoGroup
Short answer: A lot.
In all honesty I haven't gotten any scratches that won't come out with a good hand wax or buffing. It all depends on the trail though. There could be one stray branch that was knocked out at the right angle by the wind or snow and it will leave a pretty good pinstripe. For this truck I don't mind the pinstripes that much. It is expected and just the price to pay for wheeling such a large truck. It has the shiny graphics to distract from the crappy paint. I wouldn't take an Excursion on the trails without being ok with some pin striping.
Bumpers are going in on Saturday along with the winch and 2005-2007 style grille/headlights. I'll be doing the work in Kittery, ME. A little bit of a drive for you but you are welcome to stop by. Otherwise I am sure that we can meet up at some point.
Great pics! I am deployed right now and hope to make it home before all the snow melts. 90* here and ready for cooler weather, need more snow wheeling pics and you tube video's.... keep up the great work
