Since he said something about a kid seat, I'm guessing he keeps it that full so that that there's room for the driver but not for the wifey/GF...just saying...

I bought my 99 super duty V10 for $5200 in November 2012 with 125k on it. I have since put about $2500 in aftermarket stuff like exhaust, 08 complete rear end, headlight/tailight upgrade, bed cover, visors, floor liners and more. The maintenance items I did not caluculate but it was all done by myself or a helping hand like an FTE member, friend or wife. Maintenance would include tune up items like battery, alternator, plugs, 1 cop, IACV, PCV and hoses, Belt and tensioner, fluids, sway bar links and bushings, shocks, wheel bearing and lastly miscelanneous interior items that were missing like the lumbar ****, o/d trim ring and cigarette lighter. All worth it and now I could probably get closer to excellent market value for it. All of the parts used were motorcraft as well. It is definately reliable now and does not bother me to take my family on trips in it.

Hmmm,,, I think when we ordered it and went to pick it up, the sticker on the window was almost 48k, but we bought it through the "A"- plan, so it was considerably lower,,,but still, I think it was 40k for the initial "buy-in"!! Now, 165k miles later, new trans (Thanks JOHN WOODS and Stewart H" new ball joints, new starter, new tie-rods and a few other misc. stuff, I am happy to say that "Wilbur" the big pig is still rollin on the miles!!

Kid seat is full when my boys are in there!

Actually all of that stuff is in the back w/o anything being in the front seat or rear seats.

3rd row is out and well, you can put a bunch of stuff in there if you organize it correctly. Ice fishing this morning and well that's how that is back in the bank

Bought mine in 2006, for 26300, 1 years old, 22000 miles on it. Hertz rental out of LAX.
Since then:
$125 Sirius XM Radio
$2200 Dick Cepek Wheels, BFG Tires
$4500 Banks Power Pack Installed
$2900 Buckstop Bumper painted to match with PIAA lights and Smittybilt 12K Winch
$1800 Airlift air bags with on board air installed

$37825 in it minus servicing, fuel and tires for the 145000 miles we've put on it since we bought it.

Can't put a price on the miles of smiles this vehicle has brought us.
