Born and raised in Imperial Valley and only went to the Carrot Festival a couple times. I miss the sweet onion festival though. Onion Ring competition, onion golf, onion eating contests, and onion ice cream. Yumm.

 

And I thought Carrot ice cream sounded odd...

So the wife and my parents and I are all going to the George Straight concert at Staples center on Saturday. It's been a long time since I've been down there. What's the best bet for getting there and parking? Should we park somewhere else and ride the Metrolink or just head down to one of the parking garages? Any thoughts are appreciated!
